Anoushabour Fried bananas
 
  • 75 GRAM BARLEY
  • 100 GRAM PRUNES
  • 100 GRAM DRIED APRICOTS
  • 100 GRAM RAISINS
  • 50 GRAM WALNUTS, chopped

  • 4 BANANAS, peeled and quartered
  • 120 GRAM CORN FLOUR
  • 6 TBSP BROWN SUGAR
  • 1 TSP CINNAMON POWDER
  • 2 TBSP RUM
  • 2 TBSP MILK
  • 1 EGG
  • Bring 3 cups of water to the boil and add the raisins, the prunes, the apricots and the sugar; simmer for one hour. Add the walnuts and allow the mixture to cool down before serving.

    Mix the egg with the flour, the rum, the milk and 3 tablespoons sugar. Sprinkle the bananas with the cinnamon and dip them in the batter. Deep fry them at 180 degrees Celsius until they are golden brown. Sprinkle with the remaining sugar.
