Worldcook's Sinterklaas recipes

"Sinterklaas" or Saint Nicolas is celebrated in The Netherlands on the 5th of December. Sinterklaas lives in Spain and arrives on a boat three weeks before that. In the following three weeks, the Dutch bake and buy enormous mountains of sweets. Letters of chocolate are also very popular. On the 5th of December, the helper of Sinterklaas (Black Peter) comes through the chimney (don't ask me how) to bring presents. By the way, Sinterklaas, the old boy, rides his horse over the roofs, in storm and rain. If you haven't behaved yourself, Black Peter puts you in a jute bag and you will go with them back to Spain.
