Flapjacks

 

Gingerbread men

  • 100 GRAM BUTTER
  • 100 GRAM DARK BROWN SUGAR
  • 100 GRAM OATS
  • 100 GRAM COCONUT
 
  • 350 GRAM FLOUR
  • 100 GRAM BUTTER
  • 1 TBSP BISCUIT SPICES
  • 1 TSP BAKING SODA
  • 100 GRAM SUGAR
  • 2 EGGS
  • 50 GRAM PANCAKE SYRUP
  • 100 GRAM ICING SUGAR

Melt the butter and stir in all the other ingredients. Spread the mixture evenly in a thin layer on a greased baking tin. Bake 25 minutes at 175 degrees, watch closely because they bun easily. Cut in rectangles.

Mix flour, butter, biscuit spices, baking soda, 1 egg and pancake syrup. Form the gingerbread men by hand or using a cookie cutter. Bake 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Split the other egg and brush the gingerbread men with egg yolk. Allow them to cool down for an hour. Mix the icing sugar with little bits of egg white until it is a nice thick icing. Paint the men with the icing like on the picture or according to your own fantasy.
