Christmas bells

 
  • 150 GRAM HONEY
  • 75 GRAM SUGAR
  • 1/2 TSP BAKING SODA
  • 125 GRAM ALMOND PASTE
  • 25 GRAM CANDIED ORANGE PEEL
  • PINCH OF NUTMEG
  • PINCH OF CINNAMON POWDER
  • 200 GRAM FLOUR
  • 1 TBSP KIRSCH
  • 50 GRAM ICING SUGAR

    Heat the honey whilst stirring and dissolve the sugar in it. Add all other ingredients except the icing sugar, knead well and spread this mixture out on a greased baking tray. Bake 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Make icing from the icing sugar with a little water and spread this over the top; cut immediately in squares or rectangles.

    Put all ingredients, except the chocolate, together and knead well. Roll out this dough and cut cookies in the form of Christmas bells. Bake them 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Allow them to cool down. Melt the chocolate in the microwave and decorate the cookies with it.
