Rub the cold butter
in the flour. Add baking powder, salt, egg and milk and knead until
a nice dough is formed. Roll the dough out until it is 1 cm thick. Cut
out circles, using a glass. Brush the top with some milk. Bake 15 minutes
at 180 degrees Celsius. Serve with cream and jam.

On 5 November 1605, Guy Fawkes was arrested for trying to blow up
the House of Lords. King James I survived as a result.
