Potato soup

- 500 GRAM SHRIMPS
- 1 ONION, chopped
- 100 GRAM FRENCH BEANS,
cut
- 100 GRAM RADISH, sliced
- 1 BANANA, peeled and cut
- 1 TOMATO, cut
- 4 TBSP RICE, cooked
- 4 TBSP LEMON JUICE
- 4 TBSP FISH SAUCE

- 1 KG POTATOES, peeled and cubed
- 250 GRAM BEETROOTS, peeled, cooked and cubed
- 1 ONION, chopped
- 2 TBSP CORN STARCH
- 3 CUPS MILK
- 50 GRAM BUTTER
- 50 GRAM CHEESE, grated

Bring 2 cups of water
to the boil and add the onions, beans, radish and banana. Simmer for
3 minutes. Add the shrimp and simmer two more minutes. Add the tomato,
rice, fish sauce, lemon juice and pepper and salt to taste.

Cook the potatoes 15 minutes and puree them with
the beets and salt to taste. Add 2 cups of water. Reheat. In the meantime,
melt the butter and add the onions and the cornstarch, stir well. Add
the milk and bring to the boil while stirring. Mix in the potato mixture.
Serve sprinkled with cheese.
