Frikadelle

 

Chicken pizzaiola

  • 400 GRAM BEEF, in very small pieces
  • 6 TBSP BREAD CRUMBS
  • 1 ONION, chopped
  • 2 EGGS
 
  • 600 GRAM CHICKEN BREAST
  • 1 ONION, sliced
  • 2 CLOVES GARLIC, chopped
  • 1 RED SWEET PEPPER, in thin slices
  • 1 GREEN SWEET PEPPER, in thin slices
  • 2 TOMATOES, cubed
  • 2 TBSP TOMATO PUREE
  • 1/2 CUP WHITE WINE
  • 4 SLICES CHEESE

Fry the beef and the onion for 5 minutes; add 1/2 cup of water and simmer for 1 hour. Add water when needed. Add the eggs and the bread crumbs and salt and pepper to taste to the meat and make 12 small flat balls. Fry them 4 minutes on each side.

Fry the chicken breast in a frying pan 2 minutes on both sides on high heat. After that, fry them in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes. In the meantime, stir fry the onion and garlic 5 minutes, add the sweet peppers and stir fry 5 minutes more. Add the tomatoes, the tomato puree, the wine and pepper and salt to taste and simmer 5 minutes. Take the chicken out of the oven, put a slice of cheese on top on put them back into the oven for 2 minutes. Serve with the sauce on the side.
