- 250 GRAM SELF RISING FLOUR
- 1/2 TSP CINNAMON
- 1/2 TSP NUTMEG, grated
- 1 TSP ANISEED
- 1/4 CUP RUM
- 1/2 CUP HONEY
- 125 GRAM SUGAR

- 100 GRAM BUTTER, cold in cubes
- 250 GRAM FLOUR
- 100 GRAM BROWN SUGAR
- HANDFUL CLOVES
- 4 APPLES, peeled, cored and sliced
- 2 EGG YOLKS
- 1 EGG WHITE

Put all ingredients
together, add half a cup of boiling water and mix with an electric mixer
for 5 minutes. Pour the mixture into a greased baking tin and bake 1
hour and 15 minutes at 150 degrees Celsius.

Mix the butter with
the flour, the egg yolks and half of the sugar and knead to a dough.
Divide the dough into two portions and roll them put to circles. Line
a pie form with one of the circles. Add a layer of apple slices, some
cloves and a tablespoon of sugar and repeat until the apples have finished.
Close the pie with the second dough circle and brush it with egg white.
Bake the pie first ten minutes at 200 degrees
Celsius and then 20 minutes at 200
degrees Celsius.
