Singapore sling
 
  • 1 1/2 PART GIN
  • 1/2 PART CHERRY BRANDY
  • 1/4 PART COINTREAU
  • 1/4 PART DOM BENEDICTINE
  • 4 PARTS PINEAPPLE JUICE
  • 1/2 PART LIME JUICE
  • 1/3 PART GRENADINE
  • SOME ANGOSTURA BITTER
    •

Mix all ingredients and shake well. Serve with ice and decorate with a cherry.

This recipe was adapted from "Great Cuisines of the World", a cookbook published by Hyatt Hotels, featuring delicious dishes that the Hyatt Hotels serve worldwide. I was inspired because its name is so similar to mine.

Singapore sling was created around 1910 for the famous Raffles Hotel in Singapore, named after the founder of this city.
