  Rose pie   Liegnitzer bombe
 
  • 250 GRAM FLOUR
  • 1 CUP MILK
  • 2 EGGS
  • 4 TBSP SUGAR
  • 2 TBSP BUTTER
  • 1/2 TSP SALT
  • 1/2 TSP YEAST
  • 150 GRAM ALMOND PASTE
  • 50 GRAM RAISINS
  • GRATED RIND OF 1 ORANGE

  • 250 GRAM SELF RAISING FLOUR
  • 100 GRAM HONEY
  • 50 GRAM SUGAR
  • 1/2 TSP CINNAMON POWDER
  • 50 GRAM BUTTER
  • 1 EGG
  • 100 GRAM ALMOND PASTE
  • 50 GRAM ALMONDS, chopped
  • 2 TBSP JAM
  • 75 GRAM RAISINS
  • Mix the flour with the sugar, the salt, one egg, the yeast, the butter and 1/2 cup of milk and knead this for 10 minutes. Allow the dough to rise for one hour and roll it out to a rectangular shape. Mix the almond paste with the remaining milk and distribute it over the dough. Sprinkle with orange rind and raisins. Roll up the dough and cut it in slices. Arrange the slices side to side in a greased baking pan, brush it with egg yolk. Bake the pie 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Melt the butter and add the sugar, honey and cinnamon; heat until the sugar has dissolved. Add the flour and egg and knead well. Leave the dough for a few hours. Roll it out to a rectangle. Mix the remaining ingredients and distribute this mixture over the dough rectangles. Roll it up and cut the roll into slices. Bake these 40 minute at 175 degrees Celsius.
