Put the flour, buckwheat
flour, eggs, yeast and milk together and mix well. Leave the batter
for one hour, than bake small pancakes out of it. Distribute the salmon
over the pancakes and put a spoon of sour cream on top.
Blini are served on
Maslenitsa, "Butter Day" or "Pancake Day" which takes place in
February at the
start of Lent before Easter. It is related to "Mardi Gras" (Fat
Tuesday). It is also celebrated for the end of winter. Click

Knead the flour, yeast, salt, sugar, half of the
sunflower seeds and 1 cup of water for 10 minutes. Allow the dough to
rise and divide it into 8 pieces; roll these out to circles. Distribute
first the honey over the circles, than the goat cheese and close the
dough around the cheese, press the ends well together. Sprinkle them
with the remaining sunflower seeds. Allow the rolls to rise another
hour and bake the 25 minutes at 200 degrees
Celsius.
