Fry the bacon pieces
5 minutes. Beat the eggs 2 minutes with the yogurt. Stir in the other
ingredients. Pour the mixture into muffin molds and bake the muffins
25 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
Combine with fish and spinach
for a lovely main course. Get inspiration for baking different muffins
from the muffin page.
This picture shows what happens if the
children of World Cook follow in their
mother's footsteps. They start cooking independently and put something
in the oven. Of course the first trial does not turn out exactly as
they like it, and they put it back under the grill, only forget to switch
it back to oven. Their mother, who does not use the grill often, does
not check and thus, the muffins are prepared under the grill and instead
of nicely rising, they show large bumps on their backs, as if they are
struck by a terrible disease. Luckily, the taste was not affected.

Boil two eggs and color
them. Mix the rest of the ingredients well and knead the dough ten minutes.
Allow it to rise one hour, divide in three pieces and roll the pieces
out to long thin strips. Braid these to a long braid and close the braid
to a circle. Decorate with the colored eggs. Let the bread rise one
hour more and then bake it half an hour at 200 degrees
Celsius.
Tsoureki in Greek means "braided bread". Traditionally, the eggs should
be painted with scarlet color, representing the blood of Christ. I tried
red dye in a double portion but still the eggs only looked faintly orange.
