Alu Palak (Potatoes with spinach) |
Mushroom pie |
- 6 POTATOES, peeled, cooked and cut in cubes
- 600 GRAM SPINACH, chopped
- 1 ONION, chopped
- PIECE OF GINGERROOT, grated
- 1 RED CHILI PEPPER, chopped
- 1 DECILITER CREAM

Fry the onions and
the chili pepper for 3 minutes, add the spinach and stir fry for 5 minutes
more. Add the ginger and the cream, heat for a few minutes. Fry the
potatoes for 5 minutes in a separate pan and stir them into the spinach
mixture.

Roll out the puff pastry
and cut out 4 squares. Put two squares on a buttered oven tray. Mix
the mushrooms, cheese and onions with the cream and add salt and pepper
to taste. Divide the mixture over the two dough squares. Put the other
two squares on top, glue the sides together with a little water and
press with a fork. Bake 25 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees
Celsius.
