Tomato pepper sauce |

Tarator

4 TOMATOES, cubed
2 CLOVES GARLIC, chopped
1 ONION, chopped
2 RED CHILI PEPPERS, chopped
2 TBSP TOMATO PUREE
1 TSP THYME
1/2 TSP CURRY POWDER

- 100 GRAM HAZELNUTS
- 100 GRAM BREADCRUMBS
- 1 CUP OLIVE OIL
- 1/2 CUP VINEGAR
- 3 CLOVES GARLIC
- 1 TSP SALT
|
Stir fry the onion, the garlic and the
pepper for 3 minutes. Add the other ingredients and a glass of water,
bring it to the boil and simmer for half an hour. Add salt to taste.
Delicious on beans, rice or baked bananas. |
Put all ingredients
in a food processor and puree for a minute or so. Good with
fish or fried vegetables.
