Heat the milk with
half a cup of water, 150 gram butter and the salt to the boiling point.
Switch off the heat and add the flour; stir well. Leave the dough for
one hour. Divide the dough into two pieces and roll these out. Line
a pie mold with one half of the dough. In the meantime, fry the beef
in the remaining butter until it is brown on all sides. Heat the beef
stock and add this; simmer for 2 hours. Take out the meat and cut it
into cubes. Fry the bacon and the onion for five minutes; add the beef
cubes and the beef stock. Stir the beer and the 2 tbsp flour well together
and add this to the meat. Heat slowly for a few minutes and stir. Put
this mixture in the pie and close it with the remaining dough. Bake
the pie for 45 minutes at 180 degrees
Celsius.
