Smoked ham quiche

  • 200 GRAM FLOUR
  • 125 GRAM BUTTER
  • 200 GRAM SMOKED SALMON
  • 200 GRAM CHEESE, sliced
  • 1 CUP MILK
  • 4 EGGS

  • 300 GRAM PUFF PASTRY
  • 200 GRAM SMOKED HAM, sliced
  • 250 GRAM MASCARPONE
  • 4 EGGS
  • 1 TBSP MUSTARD
  • 1 ONION, chopped
  • BUNCH OF GREEN ONIONS, chopped

Knead the butter and flour with a tablespoon of water to dough, roll it out and line a greased quiche form with it. Distribute first the salmon and then the cheese on top. Beat the eggs with the milk and pepper and salt to taste and pour this over the cheese. Bake the pie 35 minutes at 185 degrees Celsius.

Roll out the puff pastry to a circle and cover a round oven dish with it. Mix the onions and the green onions. Mix the mascarpone with the eggs, the mustard and pepper and salt to taste. Sprinkle one third of the onions on the bottom of the quiche, add one third of the ham and one third of the mascarpone mixture. Repeat three times and make sure the top ham layer is covered. Bake the quiche 30 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius.
