Ciabatta

Amish friendship chocolate bread
  • 400 GRAM FLOUR
  • 1 TEASPOONS YEAST
  • 1 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
  • 2 TBSP MILK
  • 1 TBSP OLIVE OIL
 

Mix 1/2 teaspoon yeast with a tablespoon of water and stir until creamy. Add 130 gram flour and 70 cc water and knead for 4 minutes. Leave this dough (sponge) for at least 12 hours at room temperature. Dissolve the rest of the yeast in the milk, stir in the rest of the ingredients and 130 cc water and knead for one and a half hour to rise. Form two rectangles out of the dough and dust with flour. Cover with a dampened towel and leave the breads to rise one and a half hour. Bake the ciabattas twenty minutes at 220 degrees Celsius.

Put all ingredients together and add half a cup of water, Stir well. Pour the batter into a loaf pan, and bake 1 hour at 170 degrees Celsius.
