Cassata alla Siciliana

   
     

Line 4 small bowls with cake slices. Thaw the ice cream a little and distribute a layer of ice cream over the cake. Whisk the egg whites; mix them with the sugar, the crème fraîche and the pieces of fruit. Spoon this mixture in the cups and close off with another slice of cake. Put them in the freezer for 6 hours; turn them on plates before serving.
