Oatmeal-date cookies

 
  • 200 GRAM FLOUR
  • 80 GRAM SUGAR
  • 125 GRAM BUTTER, cold and cubed
  • 1 EGG
  • 50 GRAM ICED SUGAR
  •  
    • 30 GRAM BUTTER
    • 50 GRAM HONEY
    • 50 GRAM OATMEAL FLAKES
    • 2 TBSP BROWN SUGAR
    • 50 GRAM PEANUTS, chopped
    • 1 TBSP COCONUT, grated
    • 50 GRAM DATES, stoned and chopped
    • 50 GRAM CHOCOLATE
    Mix the flour with the sugar, the butter and the egg and knead this well. Put the dough in the fridge for half an hour. Roll it out and cut into stars. Bake them 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Allow them to cool down. Mix the icing sugar with one tablespoon of water and decorate the cookies with it.

    Melt the butter with the honey, the sugar and the peanuts and stir well. Switch off the heat and add the coconut, dates and oatmeal and mix this mixture well together. Put it in a rectangular dish and refrigerate for 4 hours. Cut in rectangular cookies; melt the chocolate and dip one side of the cookies in the chocolate.
