Ginger cookies Raisin tartlet
  • 200 GRAM FLOUR
  • 120 GRAM SUGAR
  • 125 GRAM BUTTER
  • 2 TABLESPOONS GINGER IN SYRUP, chopped
  • 1 EGG
  • 200 GRAM FLOUR
  • 225 GRAM BUTTER
  • 150 GRAM SUGAR
  • 2 EGGS
  • 100 GRAM RAISINS

Knead the flour, cold butter, egg, ginger and 100 gram sugar together. Form a long roll and put this in the fridge for an hour. Cut thin slices, put them flat on a baking tray and divide the rest of the sugar over the top. Bake the cookies 15 minutes at 200 degrees in the oven.

The fabulous dish that both cookies are displayed on, was made by Rakhimov and its name is "Moondish". The Rakhimovs are an Uzbek family and have been making ceramics already for six generations. They make travels all over the world and get inspired by what they see. They have become very popular in Japan.

Mix butter, sugar, flour and eggs well together and put the mixture in an oven dish. Sprinkle the raisins on top. Bake in the oven during 45 minutes at 175 degrees Celsius.
